Chatting With Strategic Advisor At Trafficking In America Task Force Inc, International Human Rights Activist, Government Advisor, Philanthropist, Speaker At The United States House Of Representatives, Tedx Speaker- Mandy Sanghera From London, United Kingdom-  Mandy Sanghera, an internationally recognized human rights activist, has dedicated her life since 1990 to supporting victims and survivors of various forms of cultural abuse, including honour-based violence (HBV), female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriages, faith-based abuse, and witchcraft. Her activism spans diverse areas, with a focus on addressing these cultural abuses and crimes.

Sanghera has contributed significantly to raising awareness through her involvement in documentaries covering topics such as witchcraft, forced marriages, incest, FGM, and honour killings. Notably, she played a key role in drafting guidelines on disability and HBV for the Forced Marriages Unit.

Her dedication extends to international collaborations, including working with the European Parliament until 2018, where she compiled a comprehensive report on forced marriages across European Union Member States and associated countries. Sanghera’s commitment to combating abuse also led her to participate in the Goddard Child Abuse Inquiry.

She serves as an ambassador and adviser for numerous charitable organizations and social groups, including Psychreg, and has provided support to over 200 disabled adults forced into marriage. Sanghera’s expertise has been recognized globally, as she has spoken on platforms such as the United States House of Representatives, advocating against honour-based violence and cultural abuse.

Furthermore, she contributed to the “My Marriage My Choice” project at the University of Nottingham, highlighting her commitment to empowering individuals and combating cultural oppression.
