Creating an AWS Account- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Course SAA-C02 – So lets go ahead and create an AWS account.

Step 1- go to aws.amazon.com

Step 2- On top right click on Create an AWS Account, See below pic

Step 3- here you have to specify a route user email address, which is your email address and they’ll be used to log in to your Amazon accounts. See below picture.

Step 4- In AWS Account name, You can specify a name for your account.

for example:- saicharan-demo-v3

Step 5- you’ll get verification code to your email to verify your email is yours, copy the code and enter in the field. See below picture.

Step 6- after verifying your account you have to set your root user password and confirm root user password.

if you loose your root password, you can recover it, thanks to your email, but it is better for you not to forget it about your email address and your root user password.

Step 7- Next, you specify that is a personal account and enter your details for this account.

Step 8- Next you have to enter credit card details and you’ll get an authorization of $1 on this credit card.

So this is not a charge, is a pending transaction and it’s just and authorization that will be cancelled.

As long as you remain with the free tier account, you will not be charged.

but if you go over the free tier account, then you will be charged.

and i will show you of course, how to monitor these things.

But if you follow this course, you should remain within the free tier limits.

Step 9- after that step, you must confirm your identity, by providing a phone number and tehn receiving either SMS or a voice call to confirm that phone number.

Then you must choose a support plan.

and will use the basic support free for this course,

because that’s all we need.

Then you complete the signup,

and congratulations you are signed up for AWS.

it will take a few minutes to activate your account.

and youll receive an email when this is complete.

In the meantime, you can click

on go to the AWS Management Console.

You must enter your root user email address.

and your password, and then you are logged in to AWS Console

Congratulations, let’s get started with this course.
