Chatting With Founder Of Nest Group And The CEO Of Nest Consulting- Moty Cristal From Israel- Moty Cristal is the owner of NEST, Negotiation Strategies, LTD. Following a distinguished career as one of Israel’s foremost negotiation experts, Cristal founded NEST to introduce a unique systemic approach to negotiation, leveraging his extensive experience to benefit both the private and public sectors.

From 1994 to 2001, Cristal held various official positions in Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Defense. Since 2001, he has been consulting and training senior executives and government officials across the US, Europe, Russia, the CIS, and Asia in the analysis, planning, and design of complex negotiation and crisis management processes.

A Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the IDF with substantial operational experience in crisis negotiation, Cristal lectures globally on crisis negotiation and crisis management. Over the past decade, he has expanded his expertise to address cyber crises, negotiating with cyber criminals in ransomware and extortion scenarios. Cristal is the primary negotiator for leading incident response companies worldwide and collaborates with cyber intelligence experts and legal firms globally.

Cristal frequently provides commentary and writes for international media, presents at international conferences, and contributes to academic publications on negotiation processes and crisis interventions.

He graduated from Bar-Ilan University Law School in Israel (1994) and Harvard Kennedy School of Government (1998). He has served as a board member of the International Association of Conflict Management and a Steering Committee member of the prestigious PIN Group (Processes in International Negotiations).
